20150819_1427271Dr. Slyter was born and raised on a farm in Paola, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University and received his doctorate of Veterinarian Medicine in 1983. After enjoying small animal practice in Indiana for 10 years he moved back to Kansas and has practiced in Kansas for the last 22 years. He purchased the Bonner Springs Animal Care Center in 2003. He is a member of the American Veterinarian Medical Association (AVMA), the Kansas City Veterinarian Medical Association (KCVMA) and the Kansas Veterinarian Medical Association (KVMA). Dr. Slyter is married and has seven children. His family also consists of 4 dogs, 6 cats and 2 horses. When he is not busy at the clinic he enjoys raising cattle, working with 4-H, taking mission trips, and camping with his family.

Renee Hager has worked at Bonner Springs Animal Care Center as the Practice Manager since April 2010. She is married and has 2 married children and two grandchildren. She has a Great Pyrenees dog named Batman and 2 horses. She enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with her grandchildren.

Brenda Miller has worked as the receptionist for Bonner Springs Animal Care Center since 2011. She is married and has 2 children and 3 dogs, Max, Molly and Diesel. She enjoys crafting and baking when she has time.

Haley Chadwick works part time as a vet tech and has been with Bonner Springs Animal Care Center since 2014. She likes to ride horses and 4 wheelers in her spare time. She has 3 dogs, 4 cats and 2 horses and 25 chickens.

Kirsten Byer has worked at Bonner Springs Animal Care Center since 2012. She is married and has three children and also a black Labrador named Leo. She enjoys tennis, reading and lake time with her family.
